A Street Team Miracle

Hey Everyone,

Just droppin’ another line from Junkyard Prophet.  We have been busy since the NAMM Show, and just preparing for more venues to come.  We are still editing the videos, and working on some things for the YouTube page.  As always, we are hittin’ the streets, preaching the Gospel, and reaching out to the lost and bringing life to those who need it.  

I sit here thinking of things to blog for you all, and it keeps coming back to the same thing: Once again, another suicide, or a death in someone’s family, or why divorce is so high.  The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death.” Ever since the fall of Adam, we have had nothing but death linger in front of our faces, and now it’s amplified and right in front of you at your very fingertips!  Thank God He gave us Christ, His Son, to give us life, and redeem us from all of our sins.   It’s awesome to hear of the good report of what God is doing in other peoples’ lives.  

I remember a time about 2 ½ years ago, a husband and wife came up to our Street Team table and asked if we could pray for their son who was battling cancer. I said, “Let’s pray now.”  Six months ago, I was running another Street Team when a man came walking up with a smile and said, “Do you remember me?”  I said, “I see so many people a day.  I’m sorry, I don’t.”  He said, “You prayed for my son outside of a store around 2 years ago, because he had cancer.” In shock I said, “Oh yeah! How is he doing?”  He said that his son had been completely healed from cancer.  God is who He says He is, but the point I’m trying to make is that there is always life in the midst of death.  We die to ourselves so that Christ can live through us for you.  

Keep your eyes focused on Christ and move forward, cuz it’s easy to get bogged down with life.  He alone can set you on the right course.  It’s not easy, but it is a sure path to life (Matthew 5 &7).   Come back next week for more, cuz there is always something new going on.  Take Care.
