Abortion is Murder

If there is one subject that seriously catches my attention, it would definitely be the murdering of the innocent in this country. It seems that the more lawless people in this nation become, the more that it is tolerated. According to the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution, it states, “…nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” Also, in Proverbs 6, the Bible says that the Lord hates “hands that shed innocent blood”, which is pretty clear and needs no further interpretation. Simply put, “abortion” is just a scapegoat for people who want to indulge in their lusts and destroy the consequence of their choice.

Speaking of “pro-choice,” I agree that we have the right to choose, but is it a right choice? I have a choice every time I drive my car to obey the speed limit, or go beyond the limit, which causes me to be a “law-breaker”, and of course, grants me a ticket with a hefty fine because of the "law" that I violated. Now, because I have the right to choose to go faster than the limit, does that make it right? Does it not put others on or near the road in danger? Romans 6:16 says, “Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey: whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” In addition, Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live”. You see, when you walk in conformity to God’s holy Law, you are choosing life, liberty, and the true pursuit of happiness. As James 1:25 calls it, the “perfect law of liberty.” Ask yourself, Who is affected in my decision? There are consequences to every choice you make in life whether good or bad. You will reap what you sow, and in most cases, more than what you bargained for.

Did you know that over 50 million babies have been aborted since 1973, after the famous Roe v. Wade decision? Every day, 3,700 babies are being murdered in this country, and we go to sleep at night? There are laws to protect Bald Eagles and their nests, which, if they are violated, result in big fines and imprisonment. But what about human life which God ordained that we should protect? What shocked me even more is when I found out that 14.5 million of those abortions are African American babies, and 2 out of every 3 Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are placed in predominantly black communities.
