Is Christ Living in You?

h

Have you ever seen the slogan "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven"?  Its amazing to see how professing Christianity has dropped the standard of perfection, and replaced it with what they feel is right, not what the Word of God says.  Just think about it.  If you hired me to fix your car, and I kept failing to perform my task, would you keep overlooking my errors simply because you graced me with being hired?  I am sure your answer would be, Nope!  You wouldn't allow something like that.  You would probably tell me to quit calling myself a mechanic and find a different job.

The Bible never says anything of failure, only victory.  Read 1 John 3:8.  "He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the begining.  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."  Don't call yourself a Christian and act like the world does.  You are a hypocrite if you do, and you will have to answer to God for it.  The world needs to see the real Christ.

Here's a question.  What is the difference between you and the world?  If there isn't much difference, what did Jesus Christ save you from?  What is different?  Romans 6:6 says, "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destoryed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."  We are to live and walk in the Spirit of God, and not in the flesh, because we are the example to the world of Christ living in us.  Are you different?
